Uttar Pradesh: Naveen K. Jain born September 6, 1959 is a business executive, entrepreneur and the founder and former CEO of InfoSpace. His work at InfoSpace was one of the contributors to the dot-com bubble. InfoSpace briefly became one of the largest internet companies in the American Northwest, before the crash of the dot-com bubble and a series of accounting lawsuits. After moving to Intelius, Jain co-founded Moon Express, where he is currently chairman.

Jain was born in India and grew up in a poor family. He earned an engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and an MBA from Jamshedpur before moving to the United States. Initially working for several tech companies, eventually joining Microsoft in 1989. He founded InfoSpace in 1996.

Angela Dorothea Merkel born 17 July 1954 is a German stateswoman and former research scientist. Merkel has been the Chancellor of Germany since and the leader of the Christian Democratic Union since 2000.

Having earned a doctorate as a physical chemist, Merkel entered politics in the wake of the Revolutions of briefly serving as a deputy spokesperson for the first democratically-elected East German Government . Following German reunification in  Merkel was elected to the Bundestag for Stralsund-Nordvorpommern-Rügen in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a seat she has held ever since. Merkel was later appointed as the Minister for Women and Youth in 1991 under Chancellor Helmut Kohl, later becoming the Minister for the Environment. After Kohl was defeated in Merkel was elected Secretary-General of the before becoming the party’s first woman leader two years later in the aftermath of a donations scandal that toppled Wolfgang Schäuble.

Following the 2005 federal election, Merkel was appointed Germany’s first woman Chancellor at the head of a grand coalition consisting of the its Bavarian sister party, the Christian Social Union and the Social Democratic Party of Germany . In the 2009 federal election, the obtained the largest share of the vote and Merkel was able to form a coalition government with the support of the Free Democratic Party .At the 2013 federal election, Merkel won a landslide victory of the vote, falling just short of an overall majority, and formed a second grand coalition with the after the lost all of its representation in the Bundestag.

In 2007, Merkel was President of the European Council and chaired the second woman to do so. Merkel played a central role in the negotiation of the Treaty of Lisbon and the Berlin Declaration. One of Merkel’s priorities was also to strengthen transatlantic economic relations by signing the agreement for the Transatlantic Economic Council on 30 April 2007. It has been said that Merkel played a crucial role in managing the financial crisis at the European and international level, and has been referred to as “the decider.” In domestic policy, health care reform and problems concerning future energy development have been major issues during her Chancellorship, and more recently her government’s approach to the ongoing refugee crisis.

Merkel has been described as the de facto leader of the European Union. Merkel appeared on the Forbes Magazine’s List of The World’s Most Powerful People as the world’s second most powerful person, selected by Forbes magazine  In December 2015, Merkel was named as Time magazine’s Person of the Year, with the magazine’s cover declaring her to be the “Chancellor of the Free World.” On 26 March 2014, Merkel became the longest-serving incumbent head of government in the European Union. Merkel is currently the Senior leader. In May 2016, Merkel was named the most powerful woman in the world for a record tenth time by Forbes.

Taylor Alison Swift born December 13, 1989 is an American singer-songwriter. Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever signed by the Sony Music publishing house. The release of Swift’s self-titled debut album in  marked the start of her career as a country music singer. Her third single, “Our Song”, made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Swift’s second album, Fearless, was released. Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me”, Fearless became the best-selling album of in the United States. The album won four Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the youngest Album of the Year winner. Swift penned every track of her Speak Now album without any co-writers. It debuted at number-one in the United States and the single “Mean” won two Grammy Awards. Swift’s fourth album Red yielded the successful singles “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble”. Her fifth album, the pop-focused  earned a Guinness World Record after it became her third consecutive album to sell a million copies in its first week in the United States. Its singles “Shake It Off”, “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood” reached number one on the Billboard Hot. The album received three Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the first woman and fifth person overall to win Album of the Year award twice. The eponymous concert tour for the album, running in became one of highest-grossing of all time.

Swift is known for narrative songs about her personal experiences. As a songwriter, she has been honored by the Nashville Songwriters Association and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Swift’s other achievements include ten Grammy Awards, five Guinness World Records, one Emmy Award Billboard Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, eight Academy of Country Music Awards and one Brit Award. She is one of the best-selling artists of all time, having sold more than million albums—including million in the U.S million single downloads. She has appeared in Time’s most influential people in the world and Forbes’ top-earning women in music Forbes’ most powerful women and Forbes Celebrity . She was the youngest woman to be included in the third of these and ranked first in the latter. In addition to her music career, Swift has appeared in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the late-night show Saturday Night Live in and the film Valentine’s Day.

Arash is a 2004 graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas. Ferdowsi attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he dropped out in his last year to focus on his business.

Ferdowsi launched Dropbox in June 2007 with his business partner, Drew Houston, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In September 2007 Ferdowsi moved his company to San Francisco and raised venture capital from Sequoia Capital, Accel Partners, Y Combinator, and a handful of individual investors.
